Stargate Philippines Welcome to the Philippine Site for fans of Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis. In the world of Stargate, Egyptian, Norse, Japanese and other world mythologies are explained with the fictional races known as Goauld, Asgard, the Ancients, etc. Local denizens who have traditionally found it hard to find like-minded people who have interest in both folklore and the scientific study (outside the science of Anthropology) now have two TV series (Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis) and movie showcasing a happy marriage of the two. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have the Earthlings come out on top of every situation with all our faults and limitations. SG Philippines brings together people who love myths, space exploration and the swashbuckling action, along with the very strong personalities – man, woman or alien alike. Monthly thons, parties every now and then, and, of course, the annual convention – those are just a few of the other things we share here.
